Networking protocol is defined as the set of instructions or rule governs the communication between network devices. In computer networking protocols allows packet switching to transfer and receive the data in the form of packets.

So, here in this blog I describe the types of protocol use for computer networking.

Types of Networking Protocol:

Ethernet protocol

Ethernet protocols is one of the common protocol of networking. Ethernet protocol works in two modes of operation one is half duplex and full duplex. In half duplex modes of operation efficiency of data transmission is very low, while in full duplex mode efficiency is high. It uses CSMA/CD method to transfer a data. It transfers the data at rate of 10 Mbps but also improved versions are available for data transfer.

Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet

The Ethernet protocol used before has very less data transfer speed as describe above it is only 10 Mbps. So to increase the data transfer speed and make your computer speedup some advanced version of Ethernet are introduced with much higher speed that is 100 Mbps. Now it is known as Fast Ethernet.
Gigabit Ethernet protocol data transmitting speed is increased up to 1 Gbps. This protocol is most widely used for data transformation.

ATM

Here ATM stands for Asynchronous Transfer Mode, it is also a type of network protocol which is used to transmit data. Its data transmitting speed is 155 Mbps or sometime greater then 155 Mbps. In this protocol data is transferred in the form of small packets of fixed size. This protocol offers you high speed internet connections and this make your computer to transfer data at higher speed and computer runs faster. enables the computer to achieve faster transfer speeds. ATM supports quality imaging and audio files. This system is often used to connect two or more LANs, and to provide high-speed Internet connections.

Network Hardware and There Types

Network Hardware: Network hardware is defined as the hardware component of the computer network which s responsible for transformation of data and other operation of network system. A network system consist many hardware component for performing various operation. Computer system are used for various purpose and for that we use internet facility. Speed and performance of computer depends on internet connection that how better it is, and internet connection depends on networking. So in this blog I describe here some hardware networking types.

Types of Network Hardware:

Cables & Wires:

Cables and wires are the most important part of any network. In today's modern era all the wire and cable connection are converted into wireless but still there is need of some wires at least 2 -3 to make important connection like to connect desktop to router or router to modem etc. These are some important connection that are made only with the help of wires.

Network Interface Card:

Network interface cards that is NIC is one of the most important hardware components of a computer network. NIC allows the user to connect the computer to a network. In OSI model It works on the lowest layer like on the physical and data link layer. In modern technology NIC are built on the motherboard of computer setup either desktop or laptop.

Hubs:

Hubs are used to connect more than one devices together. If hubs are not available than it is difficult to connect number of devices to router. hub consist multiple ports and connect number of devices through wires and group them into a segment. It operates on the physical layer of the OSI model.

Modems:

Modem is one of the most important hardware device in computer networking. It is especially used to connect your computer system to internet. Modems are used to modulation or demodulation of the signals transmitted on telephone lines or cables. In modulation process analog signals are encoded in digital form and then transmit while in demodulation it is decoded in analog form at the receiving end to get the original signal.

Computer Networking: Problems and Solutions

Computer Networking Problem: Here below some computer networking related issues are describes with there solutions that helps the user to make there internet connection proper.

Absence of connectivity: 

Some it happens that computers does not respond due to connection problem. This problem happen if you are not using TCP/IP model on your desktop or due to mismatch of functionality provided by them.

Solution: To solve this connectivity problem you have to do one thing provide individual IP address to each computer. Check all the connection and settings of firewall.

Slow moving connectivity:

Slow moving connectivity is the only cause that forces you to do work slowly. Due to this slow moving connectivity you are not working properly and face many problem while doing work. This slow connectivity problem arises when you transfers heavy file or files in bulk.

Solution: The only solution of this problem is that it is advisable to users not transfer heavy files or files in  bulk. By doing this pressure on networks become slower and speed become faster. If still your connectivity is slow then check the network card it must not be suspended and in case if it is suspended then replace it.

Check the Internet connection:

Troubleshooting of Internet connection is important in this case. If internet connection is dropped then there is problem in proper networking. Due to this drop in internet connection signal strength of your network is not good and this will effect your work.

Solution: There is two types of network connectivity one is wired and another is wireless. So, if you have wired connection then check the set up of all the wires and if you have wireless connection then it is hard to reach at the source of the problem for normal user, so cal the computer technician.

Computer Networking Related Issues

Computer the most familiar word uses by all of us. Computer makes our life easiest and inclusion of internet with computer makes our life happier, and for it proper functioning of computer is also necessary. So for it right networking of computer is essential if it is not proper your computer is not responding you. Here, in this blog I describe some computer networking related issues and there solution that will solve your technical computer setup problems.

Common Computer Network Related Problems:

• Issues Related to IP Address: Every computer has its own identity. This computer identity is described by its IP Address. Sometime it happens that faultily two computers are assigned the same IP Address, and due to this connectivity is affected and fault in network card break up the connectivity.

Solution: Solution of this problem is very simple firstly you assigned the different IP Address to both the computer and make the proper connectivity.

• Network Related Problem: Connectivity problem is always with computers. These connectivity problems are related with physical connection like wires or device related. Even some time this connection problem also happens with Wi-Fi network and due to this your computer is not work properly.

Solution: Solution is very simple check the router or hub which will inform you that connection is not proper because of faulty cable.
